Loss and replacements to the molded ceiling plate and now showing a new bolt as visible in the catalogue illustration; very finely cast and chased bronze but with tarnishing pitting and dirt, scratches to the blue enamel of the chandelier; one branch broken behind one female caryatids and with discoloration to gilt-bronze possibly with traces of soldering restoration; one female caryatid has a screw to the acanthus-cast base possible the result of tightening to the chandelier; another screw is visible to one of the laurel leaves, probably due to re-attachment to the body; originally pierced for electricity; but not wired.
