the ivory body carved with spear-carrying riders with mustaches and soft hats, accompanied by dogs in a woodland setting, the silver-gilt finial formed as a similarly-dressed female, the other mounts in Renaissance style with scroll brackets, chased foliage, faceted "gems" and fruit swags, lobed and chased foot

re-gilt, age crack to ivory, tip of spear to finial figure bent down, otherwise good, nice modeling to finial
