Condition

Overall very good original condition; beautifully carved; the kneeling putto finial with a loss to the tip of its spear; the hinged top lacking its pin; minor wear and rubbing to the extremities; traces of dirt and dust throughout with slight discoloration to the ivory; the body of the tankard with a hairline vertical age crack to the right of the handle. Please note this lot contains endangered species and a CITES permit may be required for export. Please contact the department with any questions.
