As stated in the catalogue, please note that two garlands have been recently recast resulting in an obvious difference between casting, chasing and gilding; the two original garlands are well gilt and chase as one would expect from a 19th bronzier, both vase-shaped lamps were formerly mounted for electricity; the caps issuing the stem are now lacking; one vase with repaired break to neck, now showing traces of yellow glue and some cracks; the bronzework with tarnishing, dust and dirt.
