Description

Condition

The gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface with the usual scratches and dents consistent with age and use and with losses to the leather surface to the left side of the desk above the lines of construction with wear and rubbing; the gilt-bronze molded border with extensive tarnishing and losses to gilding and with an area of green oxidation to the left hand side of the desk; the veneer and carcass are in good condition with minor dents and nicks consistent with age and use; minor restoration to veneer to upper edges of drawers; green oxidation to each scrolled sabot.
