Sale: Sotheby's, London, 30 November 2005, lot 265
Condition
Apart from some slight undulation emanating from the centre (concave), the board is in good condition, with a curved upper edge, as created by the artist. Apart from scattered very minor flecks of paint loss, notably a few flecks to the gold-painted plaster of the angel's halos, a small, fine scratch to the lower right corner and two artist's pinholes to the centre of the extreme upper edge, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame, under glass.
