Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered light scratches to the surface of the painting, notably to the centre and along the edges of the lower left quadrant, and a square-shaped repair to the upper right. There are areas of craquelure and pigment separation, which have been retouched (visible under ultra-violet light).
Held in a simple, gold and black-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
