Condition

The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered spots of retouching and infilling visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the extreme upper and left edges of the sky. This work is in overall good condition, with rich colours and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
