Condition
Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from some scattered flecks of frame rubbing along the lower edge, yellowing of the varnish and scattered flecks of very minor surface dirt, this work is in good condition, with fine detail and rich colours. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
