Condition

The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the extreme edges of the canvas, to the sky, and to two repairs, one at the upper right, the other at the lower centre. Apart from a minor, short diagonal scuff to the lower centre (approx. 1cm.) this work is in good condition, with rich colours, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, striated, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
