Condition
There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the eye and nose of the figure, to the upper right corner and centre of the left edge. There is scattered craquelure, a spot of paint loss and a minor tear to the upper extreme right edge and stretcher marks to each edge. Held in a decorative, black and gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
