Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably two minor flecks to the face, lines of retouching surrounding the hair and to the cloak which correspond to old paint shrinkage, the edges of the canvas and two spots to the chest of the figure. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame, under glass.
