Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the upper edge, the sky, and the lower left and right corners. Apart from yellowing of the varnish and some scattered flecks of paint loss to the lower left corner, extreme right edge and a few flecks to the centre of the left side, this work is in good condition, with fine detail and rich tones. Held in a gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
