Condition
Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from a pinhole to the right of the extreme upper edge and scattered fine surface dirt, this work is in overall very good original condition, with fresh, strong colours, and ready to hang. Held in a simple, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame, with a cream slip, under glass.
