Condition

Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from pinholes to the corners of the canvas, a small tear to the left of the extreme lower edge (approx. 0.5cm) and scattered small patches of paint shrinkage, this work is in good condition, with a strong surface and rich colours. Held in a decorative, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
