Condition

Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably an area to the upper right corner and to the centre. Apart from a light stretcher mark along the upper edge, this work is in very good condition, with fresh, strong colours and a defined surface. Held in a highly decorative, polychrome, moulded plaster and wood frame with classical and baroque motifs.
