Condition
This condition report has been provided by Jane McAusland FIIC, Conservator and Restorer of Art on Paper, Nether Hall Barn, Old Newton, Nr Stowmarket, Suffolk IP14.
Support
This large drawing on Japanese type paper is at present hinged in all four places to a mount. There is light foxing in the sheet and a group of stronger ones on the right-hand side towards the top. There is a crease at the top edge and a little surface dirt. The edges show some mount staining and the sheet is also slightly stained.
Medium
The pastel medium is in a good condition and bright, though there is a little rubbing lower left.
