Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered flecks of retouching throughout the upper half of the compostition, notably to the upper right and infilling to the sky. Apart from scattered fine craquelure and some faint water marks noticeable to the lower centre, this work is in very good condition, with fine detail and bright colours, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
