Condition

Original canvas. There is a potential repair above the sheep's back on the left, and no further readily visible retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from some pinhead-sized associated flecks of paint loss to the lower left and one spot to the lower right, this work is in very good original condition. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
