Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are a few flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the lower half of the composition. Apart from some undulation to the canvas due to the re-lining, yellowing of the varnish and scattered surface dirt and craquelure, this work is in fair condition. Held in a decorative, wide, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
