Condition

The canvas has been relined at the edges and impregnated. Two patches visible on the back, both on the right side of the middle bar of the stretcher. One approximately 15 by 20 cm, the other 3 by 3 cm. Craquelure visible throughout the canvas. One well restored 3 cm. tear in the roof of the house to the left. Restored tear of approximately 15 cm in the centre of the sky, 8 cm below the edge and one small restored tear in the upper right corner, 1 cm from the right edge. Scattered retouches in the buildings and the river, some in the sky. Some retouches to the stetchermark of the centre bar.
