The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This painting is in wonderful condition. The canvas has never been removed from its original stretcher. The paint layer is stable, even and clean. Apart from some retouches around the extreme edges of the picture addressing frame abrasion, there is no restoration to the picture proper. The painting is clearly in beautiful state.
