Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is white casting residue to the crevices at the back of the bust. There is a small blue and green stain to the proper left cheek of Beethoven. There is some minor wear to both the base and the bronze relief after Barye consistent with age.
