Condition
From a first hand inspection the support looks a little warped. There are small vertical cracks near the top edge, over the boy and over the sea on the right hand due too a natural aging. Two small holes due to nails are visible along the top and lower edges. A small loss is visible in the sea on the boy's right hand side and near the top left hand side corner (also visible from the picture in the catalogue).
The ultra violet light reveals a light fluorescent varnish homogeneously spread over the surface, no retouches nor restoration.
It is suggested a careful cleansing.
