Condition
Work on original canvas.
From a first hand inspection there is a distortion of the canvas in the lower corners due to a wrong tensioning of the loom. Some losses are visible around the signature. Two scratch are visible along the lower edge: one (cm 5) on the left with some small losses and another lower right (cm 10 circa) with a patch on the reverse. Over the sky on the right there is a small retouch with a patch on the reverse and a retouch above it.
The ultra violet light reveals strong fluorescent varnish homogeneously spread over the surface.
It is suggested a restoration and a careful cleansing.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation are good.
