Work on original canvas.
From a first hand inspection there are some scratches top left and right hand, one in the middle of the top edge, one overt the tree in the centre foreground (all visible from the picture in the catalogue). Some losses top right, in the lower right hand corner below the signature and in the lower left hand side corner. A small loss is over the greenery in the background, one over the dome and over the signature there is a loss (cm 1 x 1) retouched (all visible from the picture in the catalogue). A retouched scratch (cm 20 circa) goes from the wood in the left hand foreground towards the man's head seated on the bench.
The ultra violet light reveals strong fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface. There are some darker paint brushes over the trees done by the artist.
It is suggested a restoration and a careful cleansing.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
