Condition

STRUCTURE This picture is unlined and in good condition with strong colours and original texture throughout. There is a repaired tear visible at the reverse which corresponds with the green wooden lantern mounted on the wall. This picture would benefit from a light clean. ULTRA VIOLET LIGHT There is a small area of retouching to the lantern corresponding with the repaired tear. Under ultra violet light the varnish is very dirty and may conceal other minor retouchings. FRAME Contained in an attractive Victorian gilt moulded frame with minor losses.
