- height 35 3/4 in.; width 44 in.; depth 24 in.
- 90.8 cm; 111.8 cm; 61 cm
of serpentine form, the figured top with cross banding and inlaid with stringing and rosewood banding above a molded edge above a brushing slide, the four graduated drawers similarly cross banded with rosewood with bail handles, above a conforming molded base with conforming bracket feet.
Condition
Overall of nice waxed mellow color, with small old scratches, scuffs and stains overall as usual. Top with old repair to back left edge and old age crack at right side. Right side panel with two old vertical cracks running through line of construction and figure of the timber, the left with a similar crack. Drawers with some losses to cockbeading, and with shrinkage to the linings. Inlay with good old surfaces and with some losses to rope stringing. The right back foot and the side of the right front foot cracked and reglued. Drawers require slight adjustment.
