Description
- height 34 1/4 in.; width 6 ft. 7 1/4 in.; depth 35 3/4 in.

of demilune form, the highly figured cross banded and ebony and boxwood inlaid top above a conforming case fitted with a boxwood and ebony edged drawer at the center above a shaped apron inlaid at the center and corners with fan medallions, flanked at one side by a deep false drawer and a shallow cupboard, the other with two drawers, a false drawer and a shallow cupboard, all with figured veneer, line inlay and oval panels, and supported on square tapered and stop fluted legs with spade toes.

Condition
The catalogue illustration is slightly too red in color. The sideboard has a beautiful untouched dry surface and very good color. Old marks and stains to the top. There are chipped losses to the veneer throughout, as visible in the photo and there is a larger loss and chip to the top of the front right leg. The doors and drawers with horizontal shrinkage cracks. Losses to inlay and some lifting of inlaid veneers. Overall a beautiful sideboard which requires sympathetic restoration. The back left leg replaced and with consequential replacements to surrounding veneer.
