Description

the harewood veneered top with 'butterfly' shaped flaps, centered by an oval fan medallion, centered by a flower head, the wings with husk tips, and with a wide satinwood band inlaid with a continuous pattern of tendrils with curved leaves and berries, within tulipwood cross banding and stringing and a molded edge, the apron fitted with a single drawer inlaid with ribbon tied patera with swags of husks flanked by tablets inlaid with flower heads and leaves, the square tapered legs with inlaid stringing and with flower heads and husks, the toes with block collars with inlaid circles.

Condition
Top in very good condition with an old patination with some old scratches and marks overall. Some small areas of lifting and losses to crossbanded edges. The veneers on the frieze with some old age cracks following the lines of the figuring. Minor losses and bumps to the edges of the legs.
