Description

the upright back with flanked by extended wings continuing to out swept rounded arms, the bowed seat on cabriole legs with stylized shell carving to the knees and with pad toes. Lacking upholstery.

Condition

The frame in restored condition and basically original other than the two uprights within the back frame. Regluing with glued canvas supports and small blocks and inserted strengthening and with old worm damage. The front walnut legs with usual old rubbing and scuffs and scratches. The beech back legs with some minor worm damage and losses to toes.
