Description

  • 204cm. high, 88cm. wide, 52cm. deep; 6ft. 8¼in., 2ft. 10½in., 1ft. 8½in.
of architectural form and geometrically mounted with specimen marble panels, the arched cornice above a drawer with a gilt-bronze portrait relief to the front, the pierced gallery surmounted by gilt-bronze figures above an arrangement of short and long drawers around a central door enclosing three drawers and flanked by marble columns and further panelled doors, the conforming stand fitted with a frieze drawer on turned and square tapering legs joined by a flat stretcher

Condition

Very good overall condition. A few minor chips to the edges. There is a minor repair to the corner of the moulding beneath the gallery on the upper section. The base has some veneer splits to the top. The portrait relief is later and probably replaces a clock dial.
