Condition
There are two pieces of canvas mounted on the board with gum arabic, using gum arabic to seal the surface of both works as well. The top canvas measures 7 1/2 by 10 3/4 in. and the lower one 9 3/4 in. by 11 1/2 in. , overall the board measures 19 1/4 by 15 3/4 in.
The works are in good condition, the top canvas is slightly skinned, the lower has two old repaired rips one on the right the other on the left. The lower work exhibits two places, upper left and lower left, where considerable retouches have been made.
