Condition
Original canvas. Apart from some frame abrasion, notably to the right edge and upper right corner of the work, some small flecks of paint loss, notably to the upper centre, and some scattered patches of craquelure and some spots of discoloured varnish to the upper right corner, this work is in good condition. Held in a heavy and ornate gold-painted composite frame, in a Neo-Classical style.
