Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the face and clothing of the figure. Apart from some slight slackness of the canvas, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and a strong surface texture. Held in a simple, wide, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
