Condition
Original canvas. There is a small area of retouching above the window to the left of the work, corresponding to a repair in the canvas, visible under ultraviolet light. There is another small area to the edge of the flower bed in the lower left which also corresponds to a repair and there are further scattered spots elsewhere. There is a small area of craquelure towards the upper left corner where the paint has slightly lifted, there are two small areas of paint loss in the white wall towards the centre left edge and some further areas of paint loss in the bottom left corner, otherwise the paint surface is in good clean condition. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
