Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are no signs of retouching, only a varnish, visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from some slight abrasion to the lower left corner, this work is in very good condition, with deep tones and a strong surface. Held in a simple, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
