Chancery folio (297 x 204mm.), 208 leaves (of 210, without initial and final blank leaves), 44 lines plus headline, 62 lines of commentary, roman letter, 3- to 4-line initial spaces, binding: seventeenth-century red morocco gilt, spine gilt in compartments, olive morocco lettering-piece, gilt edges, a few early annotations (washed and shaved), small repairs to margins of a2-3, H1&6 transposed, extremities slightly rubbed
