Chancery folio (298 x 185mm.), 118+190 leaves, 61 lines plus headline, roman letter, 3- to 5-line initial spaces, illustration: woodcut illustration of Ovid dictating to scribes on first leaf, woodcut initials, binding: eighteenth-century red morocco gilt, spine gilt in compartments, green morocco lettering-piece, gilt edges, woodcut damaged and repaired with loss, some stains at beginning, small rusthole in i2, k8 torn without loss, Y1 soiled and crudely repaired in margins, wormhole in gutter of quire & and a few wormholes at end
