[1], 308; 309-696, 16; [2], 373; 374-689, 16, printed in red and black throughout, illustration: woodcut initials, head- and tailpieces, binding: contemporary Russian mottled calf, borders and spines tooled in black (perhaps oxidised silver?), inner board edges painted with black stripes, clasps, vol.3 lacking f.300, ff. 688-698 in vol.4 torn without loss, a few small marginal wormholes, bindings rubbed, lacking some clasps
