Catalogue Note

first edition of the earliest bibliography of incunabula. Beughem listed some 3000 books, listed alphabetically by author, with the title of the work, the place and date of printing if known, sometimes with the format and number of volumes and only occasionally with the name of the printer. There is a section of anonymous works at the end. The title-page exists in both cancel and cancelled state, some copies containing both. The present copy contains the cancelled state, with 15 lines of text.
