Catalogue Note

Beronius was a prelate and poet who was Archbishop of Uppsala from 1764 unil his death. His Dissertatio academica is on the anonymous Poetic Edda and also the Prose Edda of Snorri Sturluson (1178-1241), the two most important extant sources on Norse mythology.
