the serpentine top painted to simulate Sienna and verde antico marble, the frieze centered by a shell, carved with foliate scrolls and raised on four deeply scrolled leaf-carved supports.

Condition

In excellent overall condition with good craquelure. General condition is entirely consistent with age and use and incorporates necessary old repairs and some restoration to the gilding in places. Minor traces of old worm.
