the wooden top fitted with a leather writing surface and a three-quarter gallery, with five drawers around a kneehole, raised on cabriole legs ending in hoof feet.

Condition

Attractive desk of unusual form and in good overall condition. Wear is consistent with age, use and medium; gallery slightly loose in places. Some old maintenance repairs, minor losses and traces of old worm, repairs to the feet.
