Catalogue Note

Louis Poussiée or Poussier received  Master before 1737, as he does not appear in the records after this date. He collaborated with his colleague at this time, Etienne Saint-Georges, before opening his own atelier where he only worked for around twelve years. His Louis XV chairs bear hallmarks of the influence of the  Régence style.
