  • A GROUP OF FIVE 'BLANC-DE-CHINE' LIBATION CUPS, 17TH / 18TH CENTURY
  • 8.5cm, 8cm to 12cm diameter respectively
comprising a magnolia form cup, the sides with flowering prunus and magnolia in relief, gilt metal rim and handle; together with two similar cups decorated with magnolia; and two steeply sided cups decorated with prunus

Mounted Cup: Rim chip beneath mount; minor firing crack across footrim Magnolia Cup 1: Minor rim frit Magnolia Cup 2: Two cracks from rim; rim ground approximately 2cm; small piece of appliqué flower restuck Prunus Cup 1: 2 lacquer repaired rim chips and 1cm crack from rim Prunus Cup 2: 1 lacquer repaired rim chip; 1 small rim chip ; minor firing cracks
