  • A 'BLANC-DE CHINE' DEHUA FIGURE OF GUANYIN, 18TH CENTURY
  • 23cm high
seated in lalitasana with right arm leaning on a dragon footed armrest, the left resting on her knee, her coiffured head facing forward with heavily lidded eyes and a serene expression, her long flowing robes open at the chest to reveal a beaded lotus pendant, the back with a square mark reading puji yuren



 

Condition

Guanyin's left hand is missing beneath the bangle at the wrist. There is a firing crack to the interior
