the rectangular  leather in-set top with restrained gilt bronze mount above very fine gilt bronze mounts to the frieze, depicting masked heads to either end of the desk, the bronze mounts bearing initials 'C.L' supported by slim tapered legs on paw feet, together with a leather upholstered chair with matching gilt bronze details
