  • A GROUP OF CHINESE 'FAMILLE-ROSE' WARES, 18TH CENTURY
comprising three plates and a rectangular meat dish decorated with central peony within trailing ribbon and flower head borders; together with a mug with twisted rope handle, decorated with floral motifs and gilt monogram within a shield; together with two cups, a teabowl and saucer ,similarly decorated; and a shell-shaped dish with a figural scene and flower and butterfly border

Condition

The mug has some rubbing to gilding and decoration and a hairline crack to handle, the bowl has 5mm chip to rim, one plate has discoloured hairline approximately 3cm, all pieces have surface scratching and some rubbing consistent with age
