of plain body, hinged domed lid and pear wood finial and wooden scroll handle, together with a pair of William IV silver sugar tongs, William Bateman II, London, 1834 of plain design

Condition

Teapot has minor repair to hinge of lid, the handle and finial are possible replacements. minor scratches and rubbing consistent with age. One bowl of the tongs has a small split to one side.
